It was the nature of the Craigslist ad that caught a Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agent’s attention.
The poster said he was looking for “serious girls” who shared his interest in incest and starting a “nudist family.” He went on to describe his desire to get a mother and daughter pregnant at the same time, according to a criminal complaint.
Concerned, the agent responded to the ad with an undercover email address and pretended to be a 15-year-old girl. The officer told the poster that “she” wanted to help him fulfill his vision but was concerned she was too young.
The poster responded that he was fine with her age and helped her concoct a story that she could tell her parents if she did in fact become pregnant with his child, according to the criminal complaint. The two eventually agreed to meet at Crosby Park in St. Paul.
Police arrested Peter Joseph McGibbon after he showed up at the park May 4.

The above narrative is outlined in a criminal complaint filed Wednesday in Ramsey County District Court charging the 30-year-old St. Paul man with three felony-level counts related to engaging in sexual conduct with a child.
Also Wednesday, McGibbon was charged with nine counts of possession of child pornography related to a separate investigation.
In that case, police received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the fall of 2016 about potentially problematic images linked to an IP address in St. Paul.
Google contacted the organization after the images were uploaded to a Google account, according to that criminal complaint.
Police traced the account to a St. Paul apartment, where McGibbon lives with his parents, and seized his computers and cellphone.
Several photographs and videos found on the devices contained images of child pornography, the complaint said.
McGibbon told officers his computer had recently been hacked and that he was unaware of any illegal images on his devices.
In both cases, McGibbon was charged via warrant. He could not be reached for comment.
