The desire to stay in shape can make you move mountains! Literally, staying in shape and looking as youthful as possible is an unspoken universal desire, and we try every possible thing to look the way we want. Right from rigid exercises to eating right to following weight loss hacks, we leave no stone unturned to attain the pink of health.

Well, it is impossible to talk about weight loss without the mere mention of this magical potion made with extracts of apple. Yes, we are talking about Apple Cider vinegar, which has turned out to be a fad among health and fitness enthusiasts for its umpteen health benefits, but are you consuming or using it the right way?
Apple cider vinegar is a magical blend, which can be used in several ways to reap its benefits such as weight loss, improving metabolism, reviving the youthfulness of skin and improving the texture of hair. However, using it the right way is essential as the acidic nature of Apple cider vinegar can also have adverse effects if not used properly. You would be amazed to know that excessive use of apple cider vinegar can also mess up with your body’s ability to absorb calcium due to its acidic nature.
Consuming or applying apple cider vinegar directly without diluting can also have adverse effects and can cause more acid reflux in the body. This is the reason why only 30 ml should be consumed in a day that too after diluting it in water. According to experts the right way to consume it is by diluting 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in one full glass of water and then consuming it before meals. Even if you apply apple cider vinegar make sure you dilute it first and then use it. Here are a few reasons why you must exercise proper caution using apple cider vinegar.

The acidic nature of apple cider vinegar can reduce the level of potassium in the body. If you are drinking more than the advised quantity of apple cider vinegar daily, it can affect the potassium level in the body, which may lead to nausea, cramps, fluctuations in blood pressure.

Excessive consumption of apple cider vinegar can affect the absorption of calcium in the body, it further reduces the bone mineral density. This may make the bones weak and brittle. Thus make sure you don’t consume excessive apple cider vinegar.

Apple cider vinegar helps in curing sore throat when consumed with lukewarm water but an excess of this magical blend can also cause throat irritation and can adversely affect the sore throat condition rather than curing it. Thus, it is always advised to consume only a small dose of this vinegar to reap the benefits.

If you have been drinking apple cider vinegar early morning on an empty stomach, then it is time to stop and leave that habit as it may cause tooth enamel erosion, due to the acidic nature of apple cider vinegar it affects the dental condition and leads to tooth decay as well. However consuming it in the right way does not cause any of these problems.

If you have been using apple cider vinegar for cleansing to give your skin a radiant look or enhancing the quality of your hair, then make sure you dilute the vinegar with water and use a very little quantity to make sure that it doesn’t affect your skin. The wrong usage of apple cider vinegar can lead to skin burns and can affect the scalp condition as well due to its acidic nature.
